Here is a new version of “The Kitten at Home”. It is more detailed than the first one. The meduim for this is acrylic on canvas. I painted this for my first art exhition at school where painting majors gets to showcase their art. I have been having feelings of nostalgia. Ever since I moved for college, I really miss home so I repainted “The Kitten at Home. This painting is based from where I live. We have a garden, there are a lot of maya birds and chestnut munia in there and I have pet cats. I don’t have the first painting anymore because I passed it to my teacher and she never give it back, but I get to keep this new one.
I haven’t posted in a long time. I have been busy the past months. I’m far away from home because I have moved for college and I’m taking a fine arts course.
This acrylic on canvas painting is a project in school with the theme: “What detachment from the world can tell us.” We all have different uderstandings of the theme and here is mine:
It is a picture of man standing in a small planet and he is away from earth. The man is someone who has his own world. He made his world because he was so different from other that he is having a hard time fitting in with the real world and there are so much chaos. His own world was a much better place because it was a more peaceful and lighthearted wonderland. The planet was rather small, but it was beautiful. It was a place for him to be happy and to comfort and soothe himself.
This painting comes with a haiku poem. I don’t know if it is good, but my clasmate think it’s nice. Here it is:

I’m a huge fan of the Beatles, an English rock band from Liverpool with members John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr. I really love their music, they are talented, funny and the best rock band ever. (I didn’t mean to copy someone else’s photo, I just want to draw for fun.)
Some people heard about the Beatles from thier parents and grandparents, who seem to be fans, but me, my parents and grandparents were never fans, so I never heard from them. I have heard some Beatles songs in the radio, but I didn’t know it was from the Beatles. When I was a kid, I think the first Beatle song I heard was Yesterday and it was so nice to listen to. I learned about the Beatles when my cousin watch the music video of their cover of Twist and Shout and she told me it was the Beatles. My cousin knows about the Beatle because her father was a fan. I check a few of thier songs and I found their songs to be so great and I’m beginning to love them, but I wasn’t obsess just yet. When I decided to learn more about the Beatles and listen to almost all of thier songs, I’ve learned that they are so awesome that I became so obsess with them and started loving them much more.
Almost all of their songs are so beautiful, catchy, memorable and unique. The tune and beat of the songs makes you want to dance and sing along. The lyrics are poetic and has a deep meaning. Their song were a masterpiece. The music they make are a creative work of art. My favorite Beatle song is “While My Guigar Gently Weeps.” It sounds beautiful and haunting and its lyrics is like a philosophical poem.
All four members of beatles are charming, funny, smart, sweet and talented. They are so kind and nice to their fans and help out to make peace and love that make me love them even more. My favorite Beatle is George Harrison. He reminds me of me because he was called the quiet Beatle and I’m being called the quiet one. He is a very talented musician, a good Beatle and so attractive. I’m a fan of his son, Dhani Harrison, who is just like George.

Every footage of them whether it’s a music video, an interview, a tour, a Beatle movie or just them playing around always puts a smile on my face and I feel happy when I heard their songs. I feel like they are different from any other. I lost my interest in music ones, but listening to the Beatles brings it back. They were a legend, they change the world through their best music and they are greatest rock band ever.
Last year, our project in was to make a reflection on one of the sixteen document that the Second Vatican Council produces. I chose Lumen Gentium because my teacher recommented it. The document was long so it gave me more ideas on what to reflect. When I pass it to my teaher and he reads it, he likes it. I was surprised that he likes it more than the others because I thought my classmates can do better than me, but it was actually me that did the best. Maybe there is someone who did better than me like those honor students in my class, but I still did the best. I did put a lot of effort on that piece of writing. Here is the reflection:
The Church is the light of nation because it is the keeper of the mysteries of God and the good news of Jesus Christ. The Church desires to brits, that us held to be a mean of divine grace, is brought into operation. God distributes special graces among the faithful. The laity may not be ordained by Christ, but they seek the kingdom of God by engaging temporal affairs according to the plan of God and it is their task to throw the light upon these affairs in a way that they may come into being and then increase to the praise of the Creator and theng the light of Christ to all by proclaiming the Gospel to every one of us in the whole world in order for us to be faithful and to unite us with God. The mission of the Church is to benefit the faithful by revealing God’s plan of salvation. God the Father create the world to raise us to participate in the divine life. God will never leave us, even after we sinned against Him, and He will continue to help us through salavation, in view Jesus, who is the image of the invisible God. He planned to gather in the Church all those who believe in Christ. God sent Jesus to reveal that God and its mysteries to carry out the will of God. Jesus’ obedience to the Father brought redemption. Jesus preaches the coming of the Kingdom of God and views that Kingdom is open for all. The Word of the Lord is what make them believe and those who believe will become a part of the flock of Christ and will receive the Kingdom itself.
The people of God are not holy without being bond one another. God bring them together as one people to serve Him in truth and holiness. The priest is acting in the person of Chrisr and make present thr Eucharistic sacrament and offers it. The sacraments, that us held to be a mean of divine grace, is brought into operation. The Lord instituted in the Chruch a variety of ministries thst work for good.
The Church is believed to be lastingly holy and we gain holiness through the grace of God. Christ who with the Father and the Spirit is praised as uniquely holy, loved the Chruch as His bride. He united her to Himself as His body and brought to perfection by the gift of the Holy Spirit for God’s glory. The Church, to which we are all call in Jesus Christ, will attain its full perfection only in the glory of heaven, when there will come the time of the restoration of all things and that time, the human race and the entire world will be perfectly reestablish in Christ.
The Virgin Mary received the Word of God and gave life to the world. She acknowledged and honored as being truly the Mother of God and the Redeemer. She is the mother of the members of Christ. She is hailed as pre-eminent and singular member of the Church, and as excellent exemplar in faith and charity. The Church honors her with final affection and piety as a most beloved mother.
These are just fan arts of two characters from Wander Over Yonder. These characters belong to Craig McCracken, the man behind The PowerPuff Girl and Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends. On the circle one, I painted Wander and Sylvia with poster paint and I colored the background with a purple colored pencil and white and pink watercolor. I know that the watercolor will smudge to the other page of my sketchbook because I used the chalky one and so does the colored pencil, so I decide to cover the surface with glue that dries clear and it makes it glossy and doesn’t smudge anymore. The other one is all painted with poster paint.
Wander and Sylvia are inseperable best friends. Wander is the main protagonist of the show and Sylvia is the deuteragonist. Their relationship is so wonderful and precious that I could feel that they are more than best friends. You don’t have to agree with everything I said especially if you don’t like the pairing because this is just what I feel. In the series, it is shown that Wander and Sylvia have an excellent and special chemistry and I love it. But they weren’t romantic, only platonic.
Wander is an intergalactic space traveler and a do-gooder. He was so funny, friendly and kindhearted. He always help those who are in need and do good. He sees the good in everyone even if that person is bad. He is a kind of guy you would like to befriend with. Sylvia is a zbornak, who is Wander’s traveling companion and best friend. She is tough, brave and intimidating,but also caring and protive. She could make a good big sister. Wander and Sylvia have a mysterious relationship because there might be something hiding behind their relationship and how it made us question if they are actually couples. But it was never answered in the show. They might be lovers that are hiding the romance between them or maybe they see each other as just friends but are actually lovers. I may have found some hints that their relationship can be romantic: the multiple hugs they give each other, they pretended to be parents, they share a glass of drink with two straws and a planet, that has a crush on Wander, was jealous of Sylvia. The episode, with the jealous planet, might the episode that really tries to hint that they are romantic. It was the first episode where Wander and Sylvia says “I love you” to each other and it shows Wander not wanting to fall in love with another girl, but rather wants to be with Sylvia. Wander did say to Sylvia that he can imagine a lot things but he can’t imagine a better friend than her, which means to me that she could be the only one he wants in his life forever. None of them has any love interests throughout the show. It might mean that the two of them should be partners. The story of how they met is interesting. Sylvia used to be a bad person and a dangerous bounty hunter, but Wander’s influence changes her to a goodhearted person. Since the show was cancelled we never get to see more of their past lives.
Again, you don’t have to agree with everthing I said. It is just what I feel.
I decided to look back to my old drawings. The first picture shows a drawing of a youtuber named Animat from his youtube channel ElectricDrangon505 and Wander from Wander Over Yonder. I make this kind of crossover because Animat have a series in his channel called “What’s in the Box?” where he reads letter and opens packcages and there is an episode in WOY, “The Box”, where there is this box that Wander wasn’t suppose to open, but he was curious of what was inside and he keep saying “What’s in the box?” The connection is that they say “What’s in the box?”
That second picture was taken back on March 9, 2017. I remember when I was in school, when the school year is almost over that all we have was free time and no classes, bringing my colored pencil and sketchbooks. I was in the school library with three of my friends, who are borrowing my colored pencils so that they color their coloring book, I was doing my drawings and then some kids, who are all girls, saw my drawings of the WOY characters and a sketch of RJ and Verne from Over the Hegde, so they gathered around me. I show them my drawings including the “What in the Box?” and they were impressed and they like my drawing. One girl, named Andrea, who I made friends with much more than the others, said that she loves the What’s in the Box?” I don’t think they know Animat, but they do recognize Wander and I ask them about WOY. Some of the kids grab their papers and pencil to draw along with me and I let them use my colored pencil to color their work. The kids were very nice, smart and they are even responsible because they know how to take care of my colored pencil. I hope they are doing fine. My friends also did get along the kids.
I tried making a stop-motion. I made this out of modeling clay. This contains only two photograph each with different arm position. I just use a video editor app in my phone and the photos are taken by my phone camera. I use the first photo and then the second one and then the first again and then the second and so on. I don’t think it’s good enough but I have made one. I could like to try filming because it is art with movements. This stop-motion video is actually older than the artworks I have posted because it is made way back in the year 2017. All I need to make a stop-motion is a figure and a camera and this one was the easy way because the only thing that is moving is the arm and it is only five seconds. It would be nice to do animating, but I don’t have the tools. I had fun making this, though.
A pencil sketch of our pet cat. We have him with us since he was a kitten. His mother is also our pet and he have a brother, a sister, and a half brother (the kitten from my painting, “The Kitten at Home” was his half brother). And also the mother of his mother used to be our pet. I’m sad to say that his mother had passed away due to what we think was caused by snape bite and his brother move away because they don’t get along. They did get a new pet, which was a dog, and I hope he will get along with cats, become friends and playmates. We also have a dozen of chickens.
There are more animals in this place. I live near a forest, a tropical forest, where I could heard and see a lot of birds. And sometimes there are civets coming into our yard and eat our papayas during the night and sometimes I could hear owls. There are also those times there is this iguana that sometimes come to our yard. Well I do love animals.
You are meant to exist because you are sent on a mission like a soldier. The world needs you with your compassion, morality and integrity combined with the vitalities in your heart and the calculations in your brain to set things right. You are a worthy and valued individual even if others don’t treat you like one. Don’t fall down because of being disfavored. You are greater than you think you are. That’s why you are here.
